The folks over at the ANSL were able to discuss some of the competitive news of NS and future news of NS2 with Flayra. Here is a little taste of what was discussed: 9) What's in the cards as far as NS2 goes? Will we be seeing more of a smaller games (<18 player) focus like NS, or will the game be expanding to encompass more players? How much larger in scope will NS2 be compared to NS?
I see why people are confused on this one. A long time ago, we had big plans for NS2 but now we're making something smaller and closer to NS. So NS2 will be sticking to the gritty close-quarters feel of NS, not reinventing that part of it. Maybe we can get to the dropship/planetary level for NS3.

Another blast from the past (back when NS had first come out!) comes the series of Wayward Warriors started from the mind of rob6264 (now Rob on the NS forums). This hi-tech groups does experiments for the TSA with results ranging from the pathetic to the, well, pathetic. Enjoy reading and remember, the people in these stories are not someone to strive to be like. |

We first welcome Freak83 to our ranks as a writer for the Readyroom. We spotted his funny writings over on the NS forums and asked if he could continue them for us. He accepted, his loss. We first bring you his ways to own up in co from the NS forums, but do expect more, original work from him in the future. The far future. |

Yup, we're playing catchup here on the ReadyRoom and getting all the videos we can find on our host to help provide more download locations (I had to get one of these guys off a Korean host at dial up speeds, painful!). Today, we bring you the likes of Reign of Terror, Reminiscence of sPicy and Team Exigent - Ascension . On the content note. We are attempting to compile a large gallary of drawn NS artwork. If you have any drawn work that has been NS inspired, be it by hand, digital or paint, please post it on the forums or email it to me (see contact page). |

We now have comics! Bad ones even! But they are about NS and that's all we care about around here. Retales, over the past few years has made his Nanites and Bacterium (can be found in gallery section too) comic which updates with almost no regularity and may never update again. But at least we have it archived now for him to look back at later and cry himself to sleep with. We also have the latest video from Lagga called Natural Domination which features some of the best kills from the last year and a half in the NS community. Combined with some simple, but effective editing this is a fun watch. This video is about those guys in games that kill you, even if you are hacking, I would know. Enjoy. |
